Rats! I thought that would be the case. What approved, cost effective and secure splice methods are others using to splice Enphase trunk cables to THWN-2? I'm not a fan of wet location twist-on connectors. Some of the mechanical splices out there are very expensive.

The NEMA 4 rating of the junction box doesn't change matters.
