Take it off the wall, and watch out for the really short wires to the
fan on the cover you are removing.

wrenches,
i have a customer with a failed air (xmfr) temp sensor inside their
gvfx3648. when ordering a replacement, i was bitching about having to
unwire the unit and remove it from the wall (60 pounds is heavier than
it used to be) to accomplish the repair... the tech said most people
do these projects with the unit still mounted. i have previously heard
this was a huge hassle as the boards do not easily line up when the
unit is not flat on its back.
whats the wrench experience? take it off the wall, or do the repair
with it still mounted?
thanks,
todd
