Hi Wrenchers,
I know this topic has been discussed several times but am in need of a little
more clarification.
Here is the design:
- Inverter located on roof is grid connected to a ("Main Breaker" sub-panel
that feeds multiple loads) via a solar breaker.
- Dedicated set of conductors feeding the Main Breaker sub-panel on the roof
are protected in the basement electric room with a fused switch.
The Question:
Since the conductors between the fused switch in the basement & the sub-panel
are protected on both ends do they need to comply with the 120% rule? As a
reference the part that is in question is, are these conductors "capable of
supplying multiple branch circuits,"?
