Ray we are looking at pulling a grandfathered grid tied Dual SW4024 system and when we talked to the utility they were offering additional funds to at least put in the GTI box which was not available when this system did tie in many years back. They were very happy to hear that this system is probably going to get disconnected.

However, apparently it is has an almost 10 kW array, and they used to get surplus checks back from the utility. This might be another reason why the utility doesn't want to reconnect it. I'm going to look at it Thursday. I'm quite comfortable dealing with the old SW inverters, I still have plenty of my old systems cranking away, but this reconnection issue of a legacy system is a new one on me.
