I'm installing a 3-input SMA 7.7kw inverter. Someone just mentioned to me string fusing, normally required for >2 inputs may not be required since each input has it's own MPPT circuit. In essence treated like separate single MPPT inverters for fusing's sake. I don't believe it, but opinions? Thanks.
