Actually best of all:  you don't have to run low voltage DC circuits to the pump room.  Another thing about the ECM drive pumps, they have much higher flow rates available than the El Cids.  And if you're worried about your old school street cred in the off grid world, they are still technically DC at the drive, for those old timers that insist on DC.
