I would look at the pump that Thermodynamics LTD of Canada sells.  Pretty bullet proof in my experience of 20 years of installing their products.  Don't deal with the people in VT. Call the business in Dartmouth Nova Scotia, eh?   Laing are expensive but very reliable. March is not great for small closed loop.  I really support dc pumps for solar hot water unless the customer has a solar electric system too.

Hi All,
I need to replace 3-5 El Sid pumps I'm using in a low volume hydronic heating system.  Other than laing pumps, are there any recommendations for 12, 24, or 48 vDC pumps?  Having magnetic drives that mate with the impeller body of the El Sids, would be a bonus.
Thanks,
Howie
