Here is my two cents worth. the PW is "grid following" and so is the sunny boy when the grid is up. When the grid fails the PW becomes grid forming, bi-directional, inverter charger with frequency shift to control charging. The newer SBs will accept frequency shifts and be controlled. So yes it should work, but I have not tried this, and someone with experience should answer.
