Jay; I'm happy with the Emporia system, there's no hassle with the software
trying to "learn" anything. I just installed one on an existing PV system
that had 2 string inverter arrays, and 1 microinverter array added later.
Each array had its own PV breaker in a PV subpanel, so it was really simple
to clip a CT on each array in the sub panel, and locate the Main CTs and
HVAC etc CTs in the main panel with the Wifi transmitter. I just had to
make up 3 x 1/8" phone plug extension cords to run from the PV subpanel to
the wifi box in the main panel.

I like how we can now monitor each PV array individually, the mains, plus a
bunch of appliances.
