Many moons ago I asked this same list the same question and got about the same answer. I tried to help one customer, got sued for not “listening” to them when they told me what to do, even though we fixed the issue. Spent money on attorneys, missed days of work.....
That was it for me ever doing that type of work again. Now, if I was given a chance to do it over, I’d have better paper work in place, all that. Much of the trouble could’ve been avoided if I had been more suspicious of people and better protected. I don’t mess with this and I get a handful of opportunities for remote hunting/fishing projects like this. I just don’t mess with it at all anymore. I can’t see ever doing it again.
