Jay:

The GFDI breaker can be installed upstream of the charge controller.  At
that position in the circuit the amperage may be less than in the CC output
circuit, assuming the MPPT voltage is higher than 48 VDC.  An 80 amp GFDI
(or smaller) may be adequate in that position.  The output of the FM80
could be routed through a more commonly available panel-mount 100 amp
breaker.
