Yes worrisome. The fault log will show possible causes. The
troubleshooting guide will tell you too look for black chunks of mosfet
transistors in the right bay of XW down low. Really rare, but in a hot
environment 10 years is pretty amazing.
All of the docs are on the Schneider site under XW 120.

Yes, I checked the air flow. It seems equal to the others. It's really
strange because after turning off Inverting and Charging, the unit is
idle and does not cool down. That's worrisome.

Hi Jason,
Have you checked the black removeable air intake filter on the bottom
of the inverter to make sure it's not clogged up? Check fan operation
with a piece of paper above the inverter - is it blowing air? That's
where I'd start.

Subject: [RE-wrenches] Xantrex XW6048 HOT!
I'm looking at an off-grid quad inverter setup for a client, not my
installation. One of the stacked.inverters is extremely hot, sometimes
it goes into F66 and takes down the adjacent inverters with it to F66
probably because of these Xanbus network is broken.
I disabled charging and discharging on the inverter that is getting
hot, but it's still remains very hot. Any ideas?
I tried to put that one inverter in standby, but the generator will
not sync with the remaining three and charge the batteries. So I have
to leave it in normal operating mode for the moment.
