Hi Jason,

One thing you might consider is an Outback FM100 with the 300Vdc input.
You can do 2 strings of 4, then combine on the roof.  Typically you can
easily get that on #10 wire.  This may allow the controller to show up with
the Mate.  I would disable arc fault to make it work reliably.
