Mick, Is the inverter an old Storedge 7600 using disastrous LG chem's or a new 7600 home hub inverter? Regardless, the only battery the old Storedge (or the newer 7600 Solaredge home hub inverter) is approved for now is the Solaredge 10kwh Home battery. There is probably no way to get a non-SE approved bank to operate in closed loop fashion.
I have learned not to install or upgrade existing Solaredge with even their own storage brand(just too many hassles in my experience). AC-coupling to an AIO inverter is preferable as an upgrade. Fortress inverter / battery backup works well when AC coupling existing grid-tie SE systems. And is the peak kw of the hot tub?
