I’ve had the same issue on a couple of sites. Firmware version 20606/20611. I’ve had it on previous versions as well.  Random shut down, no events logged.
Really makes for a happy customer! Especially when they are on vacation and away from the house.
Tech support instructs to look for multiple N-G bonds, a weak ground and usually they question to ensure ferrite rings for ground and battery are both in the inverter cabinet.
Despite having the above in place we have still had the same experience.
I was looking forward to loading the newest firmware, but it sounds like others are still seeing the same problem with the most recent version.
Hopefully Midnite get this sorted out soon, they don’t assign case numbers so I don’t think they have tools in place to track the frequency and commonality of reported issues.

Thanks. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by V7 update, but one of the two sites is on Master DSP 0207G7 and CSB Version 207G6. The other site is on 020606 and 020611, respectively.

Same exact problem, two different firmware versions...

On both, I did the whole process step by step (except I was told 10 minutes shutdown).

I recommend doing the v7 update and following the installation tips pdf. With parallel inverters do the update onsite and clear the data/5 minute shutdown per  recommendation.  With single inverters it works fine remotely if you can keep internet on(I've just had the customer put it in bypass until the update was finished). V7 also includes an arc fault firmware update. V7 firmware has appeared to fixed this issue at the sites I've had issues with. I have yet to have an unexplained shutdown at any of my sites on v7. Hope that helps. It sure has helped me sleep better at night!

I have the same issue, but a single inverter installation. It happened a few times at night.

No log entry.

Tech support suggested upgrading to version 7. I asked for release notes. I haven’t upgraded yet, I haven’t had time to go babysit it for the customer. I’ve been trying to train the customer to do it himself. (bypass mode, standby, etc. I did install a bypass switch and I also installed a bluetti battery on the router.)

Release notes would be nice.

Thank you,

Maverick

Hi all,

I have two new systems experiencing random shutdowns anywhere from 48 hours to 3 weeks apart. The inverters will simply shut off, going into standby with no power to the loads, and absolutely nothing in the fault logs. Turning them back on with the master inverter power switch or remotely with app restores normal operation for some random period of time before it happens again.

Here are the similarities:

-Parallel inverter systems (3 or 4 AIO)
-Powerflo16 batteries, closed loop comms (80 kWh and 112 kWh)
-Grid interactive systems with netmetering
-Large PV systems with DC Coupled PV on each inverter
-Shutdowns typically happen at night, early morning hours
-Loads are low and nothing out of the ordinary on the load side happening at the time of shutdown
-Confirmed no errant Neutral to Ground bonds that shouldn't be there
-Proper installation of ferrite rings
-AP Smart RSDs

Differences:
-Two different firmwares (but all firmware per site is the same per inverter). Updated at different times by Midnite tech support remotely

Has anyone experienced anything like this, and if so, did you find a resolution?

I have a call into Midnite and hope to make some progress on Monday. I'm seriously concerned, especially with one site that doesn't have a bypass (due to space constraints). I can't have these sites going down and cutting power to the homes!
