Hello,

Has anyone tried to bring an Iron Edison IE48V200 or similar IE model back
to life?

I've worked on this particular off-grid system intermittently over the
years. Recently, the owner arrived for a weekend at the cabin and
discovered no lights on any of the electronics or on the IE battery. The
cabin had not been used for six or eight weeks.

I disconnected the battery from the system and read the terminals with a
DMM. There appears to be 2V. Is this a heartbeat? Can I connect a 48V
charger and hope to get it back up and running?

This is the only IE that I've encountered. I am grateful for any help (I
believe the manufacturer is out of business).
