Greetings Fellow Installers;
I have an old system with 24 Shell SP 140 modules from the mid 2000s
that are at 30% rated output. I have 2 questions:
1) Has anyone else seen failures of the Shell modules? They do not
appear to otherwise have any visible issues. I have even older Arco and
Siemens modules that look terrible, but are still at 80% or better output.
2) I know that Solarworld bought Shell Solar, and that they are now also
out of business, is there any warranty still available, or was the 25
year warranty just blowing smoke?
