1. I've started that Wiki for myself in the first place, but everybody is welcome. 2. I started it in order to come to grips with Reactor (that hasn't happened completely yet, mainly because I lack the time to concentrate on Reactor), which was a project in a very unfinished state at that time. 3. I don't think the Wikipedia is the best (or even a good) place to try and document a work in progress. 4. I think Wikis are great to flesh out the structure and main content of "a body of knowledge" on a specific theme.

But let's not argue over where to put a Wiki (or another tool); Reactor deserves better.

If you are going to start a wiki without Doug's involvement, why not
just start a stub on Wikipedia?

Doug is not a Wiki fan, but I am - and that's why Reactor already has a

Now don't get me wrong: I'm not saying that a Wiki is the best and only way to go (on the contrary) - but it may help to organize the knowledge floating about on the mailing list and on blogs. If necessary, write access to the Reactor Wiki can be limited, if I understand the Wikispaces configuration
correctly.

So if somebody wants to start jotting down ideas, outlines, code samples,
...: be my guest. And if not - no problem, really.

One option might be a private Wiki where people with Reactor knowledge can collaborate and build up the docs that way. Just an idea that seems like it would be easier than trying to coordinate multiple people working on the docs and submitting text to you that would need to be merged together.

outlining the whole thing first. I might farm out some sections to
volunteers such as you. Either way, I'll probably ask for volunteers to proof read specific sections and find errors, etc. Watch this channel for
more info as I get to that point.

I've played with Reactor here and there and would like to learn more about it, so doing some digging and writing would be a
good way to do this.
