Clearly, the best option is to get a dedicated server (which can be found quite affordably these days).
HostMySite know better than to create silly mappings so they are also a possibility for shared hosting. They still have a few legacy "bad" mappings but they're getting rid of them over time. I've talked to them at length about this issue.
