So David,

The issue is someone on your shared server already has a mapping to ModelGlue?

You might be able to get the current mapping replaced, because as
teddy points out, the mapping is not necessary as long as you have the
MG files ( or any framework really ) in your web root.

If the hosting provider will not remove the mapping, you will be in a
quandary. It would be advisable for the long term, to switch hosting
companies, because mappings, as you are finding out, impact the entire
server. Someone could add a mapping to 'org' and if this was how your
CFC path begun from your own webroot, you would no longer be able to
access those CFCs.

There are a good number of hosting companies who understand how
Mappings affect a shared server and do their best to prevent such
conflicts.

As for modifying the MG files, this is a short term solution, for
sure, but it has long term consequences. I'd recommend avoiding that,
if possible.

In my local environment, I do not use any mappings. I have Reactor,
Model-Glue and ColdSpring in my web root. I do not have any issues with
this configuration except possibly that eventually I will want to create a
way to hide my XML config files.
