Lol, love 'em. I recently had a client ask me why the excel downloads for a system I wrote weren't working on their pc at home; I asked them what version of excel they were using, 'I don't have excel at home' came the response - oiveh! >Unfortunately I can't add a new PK to the dupe table as it has to be an exact >match to the 'live' table, but it is something I might consider if I run into >the problem >again. Yeh, I guess the problem there is the way in which data is being copied over from the dupe table to the live table if you really can't add a pk. If its done using SQL (i.e. the easy way) then adding the surrogate PK wouldn't be a problem and should be the way to go. Sounds like world of Holy fun ;) Have a good weekend Domnic -- Blog it up: http://fusion.dominicwatson.co.uk -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Reactor for ColdFusion Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/reactor%40doughughes.net/ -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
