I concur 100%, I know that there are engineers that work in the
background, doing a yeomans job and getting no atta-boys at all. The
luminaries that provide their expertise on the NUG and in the forums
aren't doing it for the ego-stroke, they are doing it because they
are caring, professionals who take pride and pleasure in helping
others. Every single person who posts a helpful message on the nUG
and forums are to be commended.

I recommend that an REALbasic Network Users Group Hall of Fame be

While there are many, many individuals who I believe merit
enshrinement, I would also like to nominate two individuals for
early enshrinement, ... who have strongly propelled my interest in
and knowledge of REALbasic--Joseph Strout and Matt Neuburg.
Hi Chris
That's a creative idea. Certainly Matt and Joe are each unique in
their invaluable contributions to the RB community.
Frankly though, things like this can cause some seriously hurt
feelings.
What about the other RB engineers who also participate very
actively in this list and bring an even wider range of resources to
the RB community? And what about the other book authors or plugin
writers who have hung in there supporting RB even longer than Dr
Matt did?
Whenever I would try to give a particular RB engineer an 'at a
boy', Joe Strout himself would remind me that RB is truly a team
effort. Maybe that's the best way to think of it...
