Hey all,
Okay, I've created the bug report here:
http://realsoftware.com/feedback/viewreport.php?reportid=qxifehun
I'd like to point out (as I have in the bug report) that while this
behaviour is obviously incorrect, referencing a superclass's properties
from a subclass via the 'super' keyword is not inherently a problem (as
Ken may have been suggesting). If RB allowed us to correctly shadow
properties in subclasses (as one can in Java) then the 'super' keyword
is a very sensible way of referencing the shadowed property. Of course,
property shadowing is arguably a little ugly so maybe it's best that RB
doesn't plan to allow it.
