Unless they have created a V5.5.9.5 that does the Intel compilation.

I agree 103% that RB2006 is virtually unusable for large projects - the IDE and compile speed is nip-out-to-the-coffee-shop slow, rather than 5.5.5's nip-out-to-the-loo speed.

I suspect that when all our "bargain" 18 month RB200x licences run out, a lot of us won't be renewing. I also bet the universal binary version will come out shortly thereafter to try and convince us otherwise.
