Just read this thread as I live down under. It would be useful if
slowness was always qualified as slowness in ide, compile or execution.
I have a particular problem which I have reported to the list on and
that is the execution slowness of a win xp app compiled on mac. The
app is a POS application for the fast food industry and when I
released a RB2006r1 trial to a couple of shops - they immediately
said that it was unusable as the screen refresh was 3 times slower
than an identical version compiled in 5.5.5. Slowness in IDE and
compile phases can be managed by better management of your own time
and the development process. Slowness of the app to the user is a
stone dead killer!!
5.5.5 is my only choice for now.

Well, personally, I think REAL Software should hire someone to
figure out what Theo wants them to do and then just do the
opposite. I used this strategy at the roulette table in Vegas
Friday night. I saw someone who was losing bad, and did the
opposite of what he did for 15 minutes. Guess what? I came up
even, which was great entertainment until I got a comp drink.
Dumbest. Discussion. Ever. Some of you really need a support group.

Can't you just leave your personal attacks on people off the list ?
As for a support group I had thought that WAS the point of this list
