Since I chimed in with a bit of moaning, I feel I should also report back
with the resolution.

Mike Bailey responded quickly, addressing the issue in my email (about the
duplicate order number problem), which apparently was not the problem with
being dropped from the beta program. Mike literally went above and beyond
what I asked. So yes, the folks at Real *DO* listen to customers, despite
what all the moaning threads of late might lead some to believe.

Mike indicated that I did indeed need to re-apply to the beta program--as
Jonathan's earlier email to the list indicated (and which I had already
done). I was told that I would not have to wait to be added back to the beta
program, as I was worried might be the case.
