It seems I've been removed from the betas program because I haven't upgraded to 05/06 yet.

Now, while I can see RS's point in doing this, I have been testing each release, and none of them to date since 5.5.5 meet my requirements (no project manager is my major concern, so I cannot test in my work environment. All testing is done in my own time because I want to upgrade when the new IDE get's to a stage that permits me).

So you can see I may be a little miffed that I've been removed because I don't deem any of the recent releases good enough for my day to day use.

I was against privatising the beta program in the first place, but this is just a PITA. It is impossible to assess a whole new release for me (Imagine trying to come to terms with 05/06 if you were thrown straight from 5.5 into it without seeing any of the in betweens? - There has been so many changes and language additions that the likelihood of picking them up quickly is very low.) RB's major appeal to me since day dot has been the new releases every coupe of months (beta or otherwise) which allowed me to come to terms and use new features of the IDE and language as they were added.

The likelihood of me upgrading just went down further IMO. Am gradually weeding windows work out of my development schedule anyway, so gonna have to concentrate more on my Xcode work. A shame for someone who's been here since CrossBasic DR1 r15.
