Hi Johnathan,
understand me clearly: I really do not care which one you set (back) if I can
make the Cursor move in a similar way we can under REALbasic 5.5.5 and prior
versions. What I miss is the function, not really the short-cut (even if I have
the habit for this particular short-cut; the "Build Application" short-cut have
already been changed from Command-M to Command-B where Command-B was "Set a
Breadkpoint"...)
is it possible for someone to create that request and share its ID to the
community ? Please ?
[since I was trashed away this afternoon, water will be walking beside bridges
before I make a new feature request attempt, sorry...]
Cheers,
Emile
PS: no pun intended in this mail.
PS2: I just tried Option-Down-Arrow and Option-Top-Arrow in Netscape and it
worked as intended (I am surprised)... I learn some more thing today!
But Option-fn-Page (Up or Down) does not works.
Note that I use a PowerBook with its embeded keyboard.

Actually, the behavior described is not standard Mac OS behavior. The
standard behavior is to move the insertion point "To the beginning of
the current paragraph, then to the beginning of the previous
paragraph" for option-Up, and the opposite for option-Down. Since
REALbasic isn't a text editor, we don't have the concept of
paragraphs, so we treat each line as a paragraph.
After a litle bit of trying with various Mac OS X apps, I've decided
that it's quite standard for option-PageUp and option-PageDown to do
the described behavior (standard NSTextView behavior, in fact). If
this is important to anyone, please file a request, and we'll see
about adding that shortcut.
