OK, I get it now. It's OK to make blatant, ignorant claims about someone else's product, but if that someone calls you on it, then it's a "personal attack". And it's also OK to lie about misrepresentations you made. In the Camtasia video, you said "Again, unreadable". There you were displaying a 1280x1024 screen in a fairly small window. Of course it is scaled down to fit. That is a *feature* of BSS. It's also the source of the "slowness" you perceive. If you had bothered to read the manual or the performance tips, you'd know that, and could, at the very least in making a "fair" comparison, identify it. It was dishonest not to, as I go to great lengths to help people achieve good performance and even understand the source of performance issues. It's not your slow computer. It's the size of the your screen you want to share, and I bet if you were on a slower network than your LAN (say an upstream limited DSL line between you and a customer), you'd find BSS to be *faster* since it isn't pumping as much data per frame over the network, as it scales down the image on the sender side to fit the window needed on the receiver side.

But hey, again, OK to misrepresent another's product, not OK to call someone on it when they do. I now understand open source ethics. Thanks for the lesson, Keith. You're a great teacher.

Maybe you could stop attacking the messenger and instead look at the speed
issues of BSS ...
