Hello. I am a graduate student at the Munsell Color Science Laboratory at Rochester Institute of Technology. I am currently working on my thesis which involves two experiments. One of the experiments I am conducting over the internet and this is why I am reaching out to you now. I need your help in a few ways:

1) Please take my experiment. You can just follow the link to read about it and then participate. The good news for you is that it only takes 2-3 minutes to do and by completing it, you will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a free iPod!

Well, that was a fairly non-offensive way to spend 5 minutes. However, you might want to reconsider posting this kind of contest to a programmer's mailing list; how long until one of us whips up a little app to feed your webpage bogus clicks to win the iPod? :)
