I believe the documentation goes something like this:
1. Using your preferred AppleScript editor (Script Editor, Script
Debugger) write your script and save it as a compiled script
1.1 Ensure your script has an explicit run handler
2. Drag your script into your project from the Finder
3. Call your script just like you would a function/method/sub.
