I'm thinking about returning to RB. I bought a license for 450

I have been reading some very disturbing things about RB 2006 and wondered
if those negative comments are those of a noisy few or the general
consensus.
I find that RB2006 works great once you get used to the new IDE. The
main problem is that both the IDE and compiling are significantly
slower than RB5.5 was. However RB2006 built apps are faster,
particularly anything threaded.
And if that's the case, would I be better off waiting on RB 2006
and using 5.5.2 (the last version I have). By the way, is there a way to
get 5.5.5? Am I even entitled to it with my license?
If you have a reasonably fast Mac, I'd recommend at least checking
out the Rb2006 demo.
You can get older versions of RB here: ftp://ftp.realsoftware.com/
Hope this helps,
