I've now been doing further testing of the app, and in almost all cases it's now working as expected.
However, when copying files to certain locations, the copy process is failing. I set a LastError trap in the code to see what the errors might be. Usually, when the files are copying properly, I'm for some reason getting error code 101 (File Not Found) when copying files, and 0 when copying folders. I don't know exactly why I should be getting the 101's for files, but in any case, they're still copying correctly. This happens whether the copying is to or from the startup volume and a mounted volume, or even between two mounted volumes. But when I try to copy to a particular folder within the Applications Folder of one of the mounted volumes, I get 101's for files as before, but 103's (Out Of Memory) for folders. And none of the files or folders actually copy. When I move the test folder to the root level of the drive, or even to Applications Folder itself, the copying, and errors, proceed normally. I'm using the same test folders (one with 7 missing items compared to the source folder) on all volumes, with the test folder being named "New Files". The path to the test target folder where the failure is occurring is: Firewire 250a:Applications:MOTU DP4 Folder:NewFiles All My Best, Jeffrey _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
