My website currently runs on a linux server. I don't have direct control
of the server, only my website files. If you email me a compiled cgi, I
will put it up for display on my site to test for you.
Looking at Charlie's Readme page for the CGI Example, he says that the
server needs the Linux GDK Library to be installed. You may want to
check this on your server if you haven't already. I do not know whether
or not this library is installed on my server. The only way to know is
to test it.

Hi everyone,
I posted about this a bit ago but didn't get any response so I thought
I'd give it another try before I completely abandon rb for my server
side stuff.
I'm having a problem with a RealBasic console app used as a cgi in a
Linux environment with apache 1.3 and was wondering if those of you
that have access to a Linux web server would try to run the cgi
example (or any simple cgi) created by Charlie Boisseau
(http://www.boisseau.co.uk/code/) and let me know if it works for you.
We are running Debian Sarge and have all of the required libs
installed and permissions set correctly but are still receiving
Premature End of Script Header errors when trying to access through
http apache 1.3. The app works fine through telnet as well as on
windows/osx boxes so I'm thinking the problem may be in our server
configuration or within Debian but I don't have another server to verify.
If you could give it a try and let me know what server your running
and whether or not it works, I would appreciate it. I'm running Apache
1.3.3 on Debian Sarge and building the app using RB 2005r4.
Thanks for your help,
Rob
