I use PDFlib all the time in Windows and .Absolutepath is fine but as Joe said, that is no good on the Mac so I would use .Shellpath.

Well, as noted before, you should ask whotever wrote PDFLib what the proper argument for this function is. Whatever PDFLib requires, that's what you must supply. If that's an AbsolutePath, then it's the PDFLib author's fault that your app won't work reliably on the Mac if there are two volumes mounted with the same name. Best, - Joe -- Joseph J.
