Have you considered WordAutomation ? In this case you will need office 
installed on the computer that runs your app. But it should be a solution.

I would like to create a Word document from information that I currently have 
in a Database. I have no problem extracting the data from my DB using RB. What 
I need to learn is how to format the output for Word.

How is that done? Is it easy or difficult? Is there an example anywhere?

There will be 200 to 300 pages of output. All except the cover page will have 
essentially the same format. Headers, footers, colheads and some data need to 
be in Bold. Headers and footers need to be in italics and in a different font 
and font size. The data needs to be in columns or tables (some left aligned and 
some right aligned) but with no border lines. I need to have page breaks at 
appropriate sections and I would like to number the pages.
