first of all, my compliments to John Jobe that never does boaring
jobs like filling listboxes, he surely uses REAL Basic to send
rockets in the space, or to develop artificial intelligence... :)
Your code produces an error on Val(100000) : Parameters are not
compatible with this function. However, after fixing that, I got 2.63
seconds on my G4 800Mhz powerbook. This is a built app from 2006r2.
Maybe there is something else going on.
OK, this was a copy-paste error, the statement was previously Val
(inputfield.text), and I replaced 100000 in the mail text to make
clear the value I where using, but I didn't remove the the val().
but, is it possible whe have such different results, are we running
the same code?
