In my copy of the program, I notice that I commented out a line that was
not intended to be commented out:
//+ TheBook + TheChapter
Strangely, the program seemed to be working for me, even with that error
(but then again, it probably would, as long as I was accessing a book
and chapter that had already been accessed recently).
Anyway, I uploaded a corrected copy of the program (VerseLoopup5.zip) to
http://traver.org/traverrb/. Caution: This may still not work on a
Mac. Steve Garman iis probably right about the Mac not liking this line:
FileToAccess = GetFolderItem("")
The background, incidentally, for the program is that I'm tutoring an
Indonesian pastor who is currently in the U.S. in Greek, and I wanted to
write a program that would help him in his study of that language. I
realize that to most people, the specific sample program is likely to
produce the response, "It's certainly Greek to me," so in the future I
may post other examples of the same techniques in other programs.
Warm regards,
Barry Traver
