So, it gives 2009 - 2010 for the computers sold this year.

Thinking like that allows us to be preparad when they start to say that the transition is over, then when they stop to sell Mac OS X for "our" machines...

That is what I wanted to enlight.

Of course, I do not like this thinking plan, but this is reality, so I have to deal / live with it.

PS: I hope that I will have time this year to boot up my Apple //c from 1985 (10,20KB + AppleWorks, 143KB floppy and 800KB & 1.4MB 3.5" floppy...) :)

I don't want to start a new crazy thread. But after 3 years, isn't it time then to stop supporting PPC ? Perhaps 4 years. After that, 4 year old computers are to old, and mostly relics. You should consider a lifetime of a computer ca 36 months, but no more than 48 months.
