Ill keep you posted.
Basically I have written the core engine in RB. This then gets converted to
C++ via Squirt ( see here... )

Www.13flatFIVE.com

I use a modified open source C++ wrapper called DFXlibrary for the VST/AU
layer. The converted engine gets ³transplanted into this.

Currenty I have recreated the VST C++ API in REALbasic . I am aiming to be
able to emulate a VST host in REALbasic, since my
Particular plugin has to act as both a VI AND a host. Tall order...

I also might possibly emulate the VST graphics API in REALbasic. This would
allow me to easily prototype and design the
VST user interface, since there are no graphical design tools for this ( as
far as I know )

Cant tell you what the plugin does. But it will be way cool :) nothing
like it on the market. But I have a long way to go.

I am currently in talks with Native Instruments about a possible
collaboration and publishing deal.
