I have the line imported correctly, except non English
characters were messed up.

Well, you should define the encoding of the string before you try any
manipulations (NthField, Mid(), etc) so RB can understand how to
interpret the bytes in the data. So in your code, you should know (or
define) the encoding of the variable 'line' before trying NthField on
it.
