Here is what I just tried, only to face the exact same problem:
a) uninstalled RB 2006r2 b) went through the registry and searched for "realbasic" deleting every single occurence I could find c) went to the application data folder and deleted the Realbasic 2006 item d) loaded up my brand new copy of REALbasic. interestingly I was not asked for my license key which leads me to believe that I did not successfully purge my system of REALbasic, although my other settings were gone e) I opened up the exact same file that was working fine 15 minutes ago from a different user account on the same computer. Upon run, I was treated to the same 15 minute pseudo freeze. Any ideas [looking towards the RS staff]? I think we have pretty much covered everything that mere mortals are able to diagnose. Hi Jeffrey, Did you clean the registry from all remaining REALBasic-keys before the reinstall? If yes then the only thing i can imagine is that the project is damaged. In that case you could make a xml-backup on the Mac and copy that file to the pc and retry to compile with the fresh installed RB.
