Is there a feedback id that anyone knows for this?

I think the ability to have pre-compiled modules should be an option.
The current method offer many advantages on portability across RB
releases and OSes, while a compiled class method would surely
introduce additional troubles. More or less the same troubles of
distributing a RB plugin, I think. That's the price to pay to have
more security.
BTW, nothing prevent RS from keeping the actual method (encrypted
classes) with the additional ability to produce compiled classes.
Having more choices is better than having less...
Anyway, I guess having pre-comp modules would require a major rework
on the RB compiler, therefore you shouldn't hold the breath for this...
I'm only marginally interested to have pre-compiled classes. But, I
realized that having a such possibility, would also introduce the
ability to create plugins with RB and (possibly) to link libraries or
even compile objects different from standard applications.
I'd like to have a better compiler in RB.
I'm not sure if there is a feedback for the encryption part, but I'm
sure there are feedbacks about changes to the compiler. This
introduce the concept of features dependancy, therefore I think it
could be a good idea to merge all feedbacks requesting for features
relying on compiler refactoring.
If you open new feedbacks for this topic, please let me know and I'll
surely sign them.
