Yes, there are some disadvantages to using them:
You can't create scrolling views (without terrible artifacts being left
around everywhere)
They flicker like a bees wings (when it's flying) when the window
resizes (on Windows).
You can't use the Isa operator on them, which can be tough when you're
looking through the Control() to find the Container you want.
Thats all I can think of right now.
