It's the on the fly part that seems to be the problem... The first
assignment happens just fine ... the problem comes when you try to
assign a new icon or modify the current one...
I would have expected to be able to do this ... so the question is
is it a bug or a design were RS did not consider the some apps need/
use dynamic (contextual state dependant) icons?
Bug or feature request in other words?
It's a Bug and a Mac only bug because it works fine on Win2k (at
least in Virtual PC) <grrrrrr>
Also more strange behavior ... certain colors light colors (like
yellow) don't show up on the icon on the Mac side (10.4.7 PPC) but do
on Win2k...
And there is a significant UNDOCUMENTED platform difference between
Mac and Win... On the Mac you can have checkmarks and an icon... in
Win2K if you specify an icon you can't have checkmarks... Besides
bugs this is they type of thing that drives me nuts with RB... if it
is impossible/impractical to have both on Windows it SHOULD be
documented... but it's not even in the release notes.
