Here's my final followup on this bug. I can only see it when the original file name is *exactly* 31 characters long. If it is <= 30 or >= 32, copyFileTo works. If it is 31, the copied file does not exist. This may be an off-by-one error in a code branch that deals with short or long file names (who knows). Anyway, I've come up with a small project that reproduces it and have filed a bug report.
