About the Delete Key

Look there:

http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Hardware/Developer_Notes/Macintosh_CPUs-G4/15inchPowerBookG4/15inchPowerBookG4.pdf

page 56, figure 3-6 Keyboard layout

or search the “15inchPowerBookG4.pdf” 2005-10-19, pages 43 to 45 (especially page 45) in the Apple web site.

On both pdf, you can see clearly where the Delete Key is and what is its name.

I have another one (1.9MB): MacBook Pro, Technology Overview, March 2006 at

http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/MacBookPro_15inch_TechOverview.pdf

look at the photo page 7 (enlarge the pdf to see the keyboard).

Now, If the key name have changed, please give the URL to where I can get the new information (address of an official group, not the address of some - know or unknow - guy...)

Cheers,

Emile

PS: When I am in front of someone who told me the opposite (contrary) of what I believe is the truth, at some moment, I made a simple search to be sure of what is the reality (the truth).

BTW:

On the PowerBook G4 Alu 15" 1.5GHz I am using, that delete key have a left arrow on its caps (<--); which is exactly the same I can see on the Pentium IV laptop keyboard I have handly. The difference between the two keyboards (they are many, but on the delete front) is that on the PowerBook I have to press fn-Delete to delete the character at the right of the cursor where I have a "suppr" key on the Pentium IV laptop ("Suppr" can be translated as: "Remove", "Cancel", "Delete"; also sprach my dictionary ;) ).
