Hi Jeff, I've seen it too.. in your case, the visual problem fixes itself when you run it though doesn't? Seems to when I tried it. I think it is related to the AutoHideScrollbars property.
In my case, I had a form with a listbox that displays only when you click on a drop down disclosure style button. By default, the listbox is hidden when the window opens. When I moved to r3, the listbox's vertical scrollbar would show up (without the rest of the listbox) at launch. I fixed it by turning off autoHideScrollbars because in my case, the listbox cannot resized. My exact steps were: uncheck autoHideScrollbars, uncheck scrollbarVertical, reselect scrollbarVertical. Regards, Russ ------ Subject: RB 2006r3 Listbox Vertical down-arrow bug From: Jeff Alberti Date: Wed, 2 Aug 2006 11:36:25 -0700 I haven't been keeping up with the daily list reading, so forgive me if the issue has already been identified. I would like to confirm a very annoying bug with the latest version of RB 2006r3 and the listbox control: All newly compiled apps using RB 2006r3 seem to have a bug in the listbox control. The bug occurs when both the ScrollBarVertical and ScrollbarHorizontal properties are turned on, and there is column data extending past the horizontal boundary of the list. The bug does NOT occur if the ScrollBarVertical property is the only scroll bar active. I have included an example project, could somebody take a few minutes to help me confirm the issue. http://216.231.28.208/listboxbug.rbp.zip Send instant messages to your online friends http://au.messenger.yahoo.com Send instant messages to your online friends http://au.messenger.yahoo.com _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
