Thank you for the suggestion. I am using a separate thread to do the copying so that the UI is responsive. Using multiple worker threads is an interesting suggestion, but may not be a good fit in this particular case. I am curious about it, though. Is there enough non-io overhead in FolderItem.CopyFileTo that a significant improvement is possible?
