I don´t have any triggering methods calling that popupmenu in my app
object. I´ve found a constant in a globals module, but deleted it and
nothing.
Yesterday I had the same problem and believed to have hunted down it
to a break in the code that was not supposed to be in the execution
path. But today I have no breakpoints and it gets it the eventloop
and calls the popupmenu of that window.
Am I definitely lost here?

I will take a look at this. What about a defined method in the app
but not executing? Can it instantiate the window also?
